Sinopsis :

Macabre mengisahkan suatu malam yang paling mencekamkan bagi 6 orang teman lama. Pada suatu malam, Adjie dan Astrid, pasangan suami-istri muda yang baru saja diberkati seorang bayi lelaki bernama Nico pergi ke Bandung bersama 3 teman baiknya, yakni Jimmy, Eko dan Alam.

Perjalanan ke bandung ini sebenarnya merupakan sebuah usaha terakhir Adjie untuk berpamitan dengan adik nya ; Ladya. Kedua kakak-beradik ini sudah lama tak berhubungan lagi sejak kematian orang tua mereka, dan besoknya Adjie dan keluarganya akan terbang ke Australia untuk memulai hidup baru disana. Pada mulanya pertemuan ini tak berlangsung dengan mulus, Ladya seorang pemberontak mempunyai sikap yang bertolak-belakang dengan Adjie yang orangnya dewasa dan kalem, tetapi atas bujukan Astrid, Ladya akhirnya mengalah dan dengan sungkan ikut bersama yang lain, mengantar Adjie dan keluarga ke Airport.

Tetapi perjalanan mereka terhenti ketika seorang perempuan berkulit pucat yang cantik menghampiri mereka, terlihat cemas dan linglung, gadis cantik ini mengiba ke keenam teman itu, Nama saya Maya, dan saya baru saja dirampok Sesampai di rumah Maya, bertemulah mereka dengan seorang perempuan anggun dan misterius bernama Dara.

Disinilah kebaikan hati dan maksud baik menjadi awal bencana di hari yang kelam ini, tak menyadari bahwa keputusan mereka untuk mengantar Maya pulang akan menjadi sebuah katalis berdarah yang pernah di alami dalam hidup mereka. Sekumpulan teman ini terjebak dalam sebuah situasi dimana satu-persatu dari mereka mulai dibantai secara sistematis, dan pada puncaknya, Dara akan melakukan apa saja untuk merebut Nico, bayi Adjie dari tangan kedua orang-tua nya. Tanpa mengetahui apa sebab dari kekejaman dan kematian yang terjadi disekitar mereka, enam orang harus berjuang untuk kabur dari para penghuni rumah yang sepertinya memang dilahirkan untuk membunuh. Storyline
Valerie (Seyfried) is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. Review
REC revolves around a television reporter, Ángela Vidal (Manuela Velasco), and her cameraman, Pablo (only his trainers are shown, Pablo Rosso), who cover the night shift in one of Barcelona's local fire stations for the fictional documentary television series Mientras ustedes duermen (While You Sleep).

The firehouse receives a call from an apartment building about a woman who is trapped. When Manu (Ferrán Terraza) and Álex (David Vert) arrive, the police break down the door, with Ángela and Pablo recording their actions. The woman becomes extraordinarily aggressive and bites one of the policemen. Meanwhile, the terrified residents gather in the entrance hall, and look on as the police and military seal off the building. The firefighter who remained at the old lady's apartment is bitten and tossed down the stairs.

The camera crew, the remaining cop (Jorge Yaman) and the second firefighter go up again and are attacked. The cop apparently kills the old lady with a shot, which is confirmed by Ángela who asks Pablo to rewind and replay that part of the tape. The camera crew remain trapped inside the building with the residents, and continue recording in spite of police pressure. Ángela interviews a little girl named Jennifer (Claudia Silva) who lives with her parents and dog in the building. Jennifer is ill with what her mother (María Lanau) claims is tonsilitis. She says her dog, Max, is at the veterinarian because he appeared to be sick as well.

Review

Reiko Asakawa is researching into a 'Cursed Video' interviewing kids about it. When her niece Tomoko dies of 'sudden heart failure' with a face of terror on her, Reiko investigates. Shes finds out that some of Tomoko's friends who had been on a holiday with Tomoko the week before had died on exactly the same night at the exact same time in the exact same way.



Reiko goes to the cabin where the teens had stayed and finds an 'unlabled' video tape. Reiko watched the tape to discover its the 'cursed videotape'. Ex Husband Ryuji helps Reiko solve the mystery, Reiko makes a copy for him. Things become more tense when her son Yoichi watches the tape saying Tomoko had told him too. They discovery takes them to a volcanic island where they discover that the video has a connection to a Pyscic who died 30 years ago, and her child Sadako...

The editor of a fashion magazine Ariel Wolfe receives many calls from her sister Sara, but she does not return.



When Sara is found dead, apparently after committing suicide, Ariel goes to her apartment with her friend and photographer Paul. She meets Professor Richard, who is seeking Sara's journal to find a lead to the statue of the evil god Baphomet for a museum.



Later, Ariel and Paul are kidnapped by the gang of the treasure hunter Desmond, who intends to find and sell the statue to a private collector for five million dollars. They go to the house, where they meet Richard, his assistant Kyle and the student Michelle, but the criminals dominate the group. However, the house suddenly closes all the exits and they find trapped inside with vision of ghosts that are reliving their final moments in the place they died.
